From 6 to 9 p.m. on the Friday before Memorial Day, May 26, the Hutto Municipal Government will host Hutto Parks and Recreation for a block-party at the Hutto Co-Op, 420 U.S. 79.
Separately but at the same time, The Richard A. Oman American Legion Post 302 will conduct a remembrance ceremony honoring service members killed in action (KIA) at Fritz Park, 400 Park St.
If you would like to have a loved-one’s name read during the ceremony, please send their name, rank, branch of service and KIA date to [email protected] by May 24.
The block party will have food trucks, vendors, The Peterson Brothers and The Teddy Long Band will play live music and familyfriendly activities. Bring camping chairs and coolers, but no glass.
