FT.WORTH – On May 6, Taylor resident Bridget Weber won first place in Ready Writing at the Private Schools Interscholastic Association’s state competition at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. “I’m so proud of how hard our students worked to prepare for their events. They practiced once a week with their coaches and also spent countless hours at home preparing. It was great to see their hard work pay off and so many of them place so well at state,” said Becky Cavage, St. Paul principal.
Weber also took a fifth place medal in Listening Skills and a sixth place medal in Spelling. She is a fourth grade student at St. Paul Lutheran School in Thorndale, whose elementary took eigth place overall in the state meet.
