On Saturday, May 6, people had the opportunity to pet a chicken or a tractor at the annual Blackland Prairie Day festival. This year, the event was held in Heritage Square, rather than along Main Street. The festival included vendors, music, a kids’ zone and more. While at Blackland Prairie Day, people could visit the weekly Farmers’ Market and go over to city hall and vote.
