This Friday, kick up a storm at Georgetown’s signature annual event, the Red Poppy Festival.
The festival opens at 6 p.m. Friday night, April 28. Artisan booths and food courts will be available. At 7 p.m., Dysfunkshun Junkshun band will take the stage. Saturday, April 29, the festivities pile on, starting at 10 a.m. with a parade, car show at 11 a.m., a Kids Fun Zone, live music and performances until 9:30 p.m.
On Sunday, the festival opens at 11 a.m. again but features an exclusive BMX Stunt Show three times throughout the day. The festival ends at 5 p.m.
