Saturday, April 22 — Support the next generation of business owners at ESTEAM’s 6th Annual Children’s Business Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CHASCO Family YMCA, 1801 N. Interstate Hwy 35, Round Rock. This free public event will be hosted by the FIRE Foundation and involves a competition across three age groups. Mid-morning Mixer Tuesday, April 25 — From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Common Cents will be hosting and sponsoring a free mid-morning mixer for Taylor and surrounding area residents, 602 W. Twelfth St.

St. Mary’s Ribbon Cutting Wednesday, April 26 — At 9:30 a.m., St. May’s Catholic High School will have a ribbon cutting for a new high school complex on campus, 502 Elliott St., Taylor. Light refreshments will be served, and an optional tour of campus will follow.

Cigar Rolling Class

Wednesday, April 26 — From 5 to 9 p.m., Red Cap Cigar Lounge will host a Tampeño cigar rolling class and event with Jorge Rodriguez, CEO of Tampeno Cigars, at 215 N. Main St., Taylor. $25 in advance, $35 day of the event. No membership fee needed, however, if attendees do not hold a Red Cap Locker, they must purchase at least $10 in tobacco, cigars or merchandise. Red Poppy Festival

Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30 — Starting at 6 p.m.

Friday and ending at 5 p.m.

Sunday, Georgetown’s signature annual event is back. With live music, vendor booths, and plenty of red poppy flowers, this event is designed to entertain.
