Dear Editor, I’ve always valued the Viewpoints or Opinions section of newspapers for the stimulation to make me think. I’ve thought a lot about the cartoon in the paper on Sunday.
March 12. Seeing the crew of Star Trek was fun. But the words from Spock were not. Logic, as Spock prized above all else, would tell us that many people on the planet get their opinions fed to them without due thought or research. To suggest it’s only liberals that fall prey to this folly seems deliberately illogical and designed to be inflammatory. Sharon Huling Coupland, TX
