What would it feel like to feel calm and fall completely, deeply sound asleep and stay asleep all night long?

One person’s success story is, “I have struggled with quality sleep since high school. I rarely fell asleep easily, and it was tough to reach REM sleep when I would finally doze off. Sleep is easy now.”

What would it feel like to get a full eight hours of sleep?

Another person’s story is, “I was able to feel calm and it wasn’t long before I was completely sound asleep. I woke up the next day after about 7 hours of sleep, feeling better than I had since I was young.”

Matthew Walker PhD., Scientific Advisor of the Sleep Foundation says:, “Sleep is the single most effective thing you can do to reset the health of your brain and body.”

Teenagers, ages 14-17, need eight to 10 hours of sleep. Adults, 18 and older, need seven to nine hours of sleep. Not getting enough sleep can weaken your immune system. Sleep is when your body makes cytokine proteins that are vital to mount an immune response to defend your body.

If you or your child catch everything that comes around, you may be suffering from sleep deprivation.

You just can’t think fast or clearly when you don’t sleep properly. The brain function slows down so you become forgetful. You can’t remember things.

Research shows that sleep is necessary for creativity, assimilating new information and getting nutrients to the brain and removing waste from the brain. Making decisions becomes harder and your reasoning and problem solving worsen. And, you can forget about having patience with kids or other people. Drugs don’t allow for a natural, deep sleep.

Drugs can actually make sleep issues worse. So, if you are using drugs to help you sleep, it only slows your reaction time and alertness even more.

One of the best ways to improve your health is to get a great night’s sleep. You’ve tried all the normal stuff to try to get a good night’s sleep. Now, it’s time to find natural answers that will work for you. Call us at: 512-6262332 for an appointment.
