Saturday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Friends of the Taylor Public Library will host a free plant swap at 801 Vance St.
Everyone is welcome to stroll through the festivities.
Plant swaps include all ages and often run like a networking event for plant-enthusiasts in the area. It can be a great way to meet community members and share advice about gardening.
When at a plant swap, it is important to follow a few rules.
First, respect everyone’s plants, time, and resources. Do not take anything from a plant owner without their consent.
Two, offer trades that are comparable in value to each other.
Three, have fun.
Remember–kids get free plants at this event too.
