FROM STAFF REPORTS
Sexual abuse of children is a topic that is rarely talked about, but a group of community leaders are hoping to raise awareness about this issue and funds to protect vulnerable youth in Williamson County.
The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, a nonprofit organization providing education and child advocacy and bringing together a wide array of stakeholders, will be a partner in the first ever Break the Silence 3K Walk/Run and Kid’s Fun Run on Saturday, April 15 in Murphy Park.
“We hope you will join us in giving children a solid foundation and a successful future,” organizers said.
“As a leader in the community, your involvement with us in our premiere event, Break the Silence 3K Walk/ Run, is an opportunity for you and your organization to not only receive valuable recognition, but also join with other individuals, organizations, and community members invested in the protection of children.”
Sponsorships levels are available from $250 to $5,000. For more information, contact Isabella Tebeau at [email protected] or Marcus Reese at [email protected].
