Taylor Police Department arrest report

ITAL: It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

Feb.13

Jose Rivas, 36, of Taylor, at 7:41 a.m., in the 900 block of Carlos Parker Blvd. SW, officers arrested Rivas and charged him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Rivas posted bond for $2,000 and was released Feb. 14.

 

Jennifer Kruse, 39, of Taylor, at 8:21 a.m., in the 1100 block of Fairgrounds St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Kruse threw a brick through a window of the residence before entering without permission. Kruse then assaulted a resident with a brick, causing injury. Kruse was arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation-intend other felony, a first-degree felony, and criminal mischief, a class B misdemeanor. Kruse is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $30,000.

 

Feb. 14

Jose Ponze, 24, of Taylor, at 2:02 a.m., in the 900 block of W. Fourth St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Ponze refused to let a resident leave the home and took their phone away when they were calling for police assistance. Ponze was arrested and charged with unlawful restraint, a class A misdemeanor, and Interference with emergency communication, a class A misdemeanor.

 

Katrina Holley, 29, of Taylor, at 11:08 a.m., in the 200 block of Dahlberg Blvd., officers apprehended Holley, who had an outstanding warrant for prohibited camping, a class C misdemeanor. Holley was transported to the Taylor Municipal Court and released.

 

Feb. 16

Trace Powers, 20, of Taylor, at 8:02 a.m., at Walmart, 3701 N. Main St., officers responded to a report of a previous threat. An investigation revealed Powers, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, made a threat to shoot people in the building after his employment at Walmart had been terminated. Detectives located Powers in Austin, at 10:09 a.m. and arrested and charged him with terroristic threat, a third-degree felony. Charges were dismissed/declined and Powers was released Feb. 17.

 

Feb. 19

Thomas Holman, 57, of Taylor, at 1:08 a.m., in the 3600 block of N. Main St., officers placed Holman under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Holman is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
