Saturday, Feb. 25 — Williamson County Habitat for Humanity hosts their third Craft Beer Festival at 5350 Bill Pickett Trail in Taylor. VIP admission from 1 to 6:30 p.m. General admission from 2 to 6:30 p.m. VIP tickets are sold out. This is a 21+ ticketed fundraising event. Over 25 craft brewers featured, along with live music, a silent auction, games, food trucks and more.

OTH Kids Pop Up Event

Saturday, Feb. 25 — A pop up market featuring young entrepreneurs selling their handicrafts and other wares in the halls and out on the lawn at Old Taylor High, 410 W. Seventh St. will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.

Trades Day Career Fair

Wednesday, Mar. 1 — Over 1000 high school students from Taylor and surrounding areas are already registered for the Trades Day Career Fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor. TSTC and Temple College will offer a scholarship connected to interviews at this event.

Taylor Garden Center Ribbon Cutting

Thursday, Mar. 2 — Join Taylor Garden Center at 5 p.m. in a ceremonial ribbon cutting for their business at 1902 W. 2 St. The center is a local nursery dedicated to hardy Texas plants, rare edible species, and top-quality gardening products.

TBC Official Opening

Saturday, Mar. 4 — Starting at noon, TBC will host their new grand opening at W. 2nd St. in Taylor. Local musician, Brooke Graham, will be performing. The celebration will also include Texas Independence Day festivities.

Samsung Intern Applications

Monday, Mar. 6 — Application deadline for Samsung Taylor Highschool Summer Interns. Interviews will occur Mar. 27 to Apr. 7 for a six-week internship from Jun. 12 to Jul. 21. Applicants will be contacted no later than the week of Apr.

Hutto’s Annual Crawfish Festival

Saturday Apr. 8 — From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Hutto Chamber of Commerce will host the crawfish festival at location to be determined. The event will provide music, food trucks, drinks, vendors, more than 100 arts and crafts and non-profits.
