Rosalie Irene Bachmeyer Minzenmayer

Rosalie Irene Bachmeyer Minzenmayer, loving wife, mother, motherin- law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many, passed away peacefully the evening of Feb. 5, 2023, at the age of 88. Rosalie was born April 11, 1934, in Taylor, to parents Joe and Ella (Meiske) Bachmeyer.

Rosalie Irene Bachmeyer Minzenmayer, loving wife, mother, motherin- law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many, passed away peacefully the evening of Feb. 5, 2023, at the age of 88. Rosalie was born April 11, 1934, in Taylor, to parents Joe and Ella (Meiske) Bachmeyer.

Rosalie was a devoted housewife and mother. She spent many hours helping Curtis with whatever project he had, whether it was cattle, woodworking or fixing tractors. She loved being outdoors and continually picked up sticks in the yard.

She was also a huge fan of Reeseā€™s Peanut Butter Cups and Dr. Pepper.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor.

Rosalie was preceded in death by husband, Curtis Walter Minzenmayer; son, Russell Curtis Minzenmayer; sister, Delores Woelfel; and brother, Marvin Bachmeyer.

She is survived by daughter, Cindy (Jerry) Stefek; son, Randy (Cristi) Minzenmayer; grandchildren, Richelle (Mat) Kevil, Renee (Corey) Hall, Jeremy Stefek, Weston Minzenmayer, Randa Minzenmayer and Remington Minzenmayer; as well as great-grandchildren, Amber Kevil and Courtney and Blake Hall; sister, Marjorie Peschel; and sister-inlaw, Linda Bachmeyer.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Stefek, Weston Minzenmayer, Remington Minzenmayer, Corey Hall, Brett Bachmeyer, Blake Hall and Mat Kevil.

Visitation was Thursday, Feb. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.

A funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m. at Providence Funeral Home with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.

All were invited to the St. Paul Fellowship Hall immediately following the graveside service for light refreshments.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Russell Minzenmayer Scholarship Fund and mailed to 1029 Estes Park, Taylor, Texas 76574, C/O Cindy Stefek.

The family would like to thank the Taylor S.P.J.S.T. Nursing Home and the S&W Hospice Care for their services.
