Taylor SPJST Hall Dances Every Friday — From 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. SPJST hosts bands and dances for community members.

There is no admission fee and hamburgers are served at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 Texas Neon Ramblers plays, Feb. 17 The Other Band plays and Feb. 24 Old Friends (From Temple) plays.

Landowners Rights Meeting Tuesday, Feb. 7 — From 6 to 8 p.m. the Taylor Landowners Rights Coalition will talk about their proposals for protecting property rights in the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction at the Taylor Public Library’s meeting room. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Curio Mr. Vosa Book Gang Wednesday, Feb. 8 — At 7 p.m.

CMBG will meet for their monthly gathering at Good Strangers Coffee Shop. Each month has a different theme, and everyone brings their favorite book within that theme to recommend to the whole gang. The theme for this month is Heartbreak.

Brush Clean-up Community Event Feb. 11 — From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Adam Orgain Park, 1001 Co Rd 137 in Hutto. This clean-up is brush and tree limbs only to give residents a place to bring their damaged brush/ limbs for disposal from the recent ice storm. Thrall Chicken Fried Steak Dinner Fundraiser

Monday, Feb. 13 — From 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m, Thrall High School sophomores will host a Chicken Fried Steak Dinner Fundraiser to support their class of 2025. The fundraiser occurs before the Thrall vs Thorndale boys basketball game at THS. Drive through service provided, or dine-in if one attends the game. Tickets are $15. Purchase tickets by Feb. 8. World Hippo Day

Wednesday, Feb. 15 — From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hutto City Hall, 500 W Live Oak St. in Hutto. Featuring hippo activities, merch, books, music and the premiere of a short documentary film “Hippo Loose in Hutto: The Legend of Hutto, Texas”. Mardi Gras Dinner Dance Saturday, Feb. 18 — Let the good times roll! From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., The Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County will be hosting a night of dinner, dancing, drinks, games and a chance to give back at the Taylor Mansion, 2109 E. Saturday, Feb. 25 — A pop up market featuring young entrepreneurs selling their handicrafts and other wares in the halls and out on the lawn at Old Taylor High, 410 W. Seventh St. will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.

TBC Official Opening

Saturday, Mar. 4 — Starting at noon, TBC will host their new grand opening at W. 2nd St. in Taylor. Local musician, Brooke Graham, will be performing. The celebration will also include Texas Independence Day festivities.
