TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

JAN. 23

Lawrence Urbis, 73, of Taylor, at 1:41 p.m., in the 1900 block of Mallard Ln., officers conducted a traffics stop on Urbis, who was found to be in possession of Adderall without a prescription. Urbis was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group, penalty group 2 less than one gram, a state jail felony. The charges were dismissed/declined, and Urbis was released Jan. 24.

JAN. 24

Jack Copeland, 17, of Taylor, at 9:04 a.m., at Taylor High School, 355 FM 973, officers found Copeland to be in possession of a vape pen containing tetrahydrocannabinol.

Copeland was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 2 less than 1 gram in a drug-free zone, a third-degree felony. Copeland received a PR bond for $10,000 and was released the same day.

JAN. 25

Belinda Burkes, 42, of Taylor, at noon, officers were advised that an outstanding warrant out for theft of property over $100 had been served to Burkes, who was incarcerated at the Williamson County Jail on a previous charge.

David Stoglin, 63, of Taylor, at 8:57 a.m., in the 300 block of E. Eighth St., officers responded to a report of an unwanted subject. Stoglin was located on a property that he had been served a previous criminal trespass warning against him, banning him from the property. Stoglin was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, a class A misdemeanor. Stoglin was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was further charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1 over 1 gram, a third-degree felony.

Stoglin is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $12,500.

JAN, 27

Jesse Trevino, 48, of Taylor, at 6:10 a.m., at the Taylor Police Department, 500 S.

Main St., officers arrested Trevino for an outstanding warrant out of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for parole violationburglary of habitation. Trevino is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail. Miguel Torres,43, of Taylor, at 8:22 p.m., officers learned that Torres had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant for assault with injury/family violence with previous convictions, a state jail felony.

Galilea Luna, 42, of Taylor, at 9:14 a.m., in the 500 block of Gano St., officers responded to several 911 calls reporting an unwanted person at the residence. An investigation revealed there was no unwanted person at the residence, and this was the 50th response to the address with similar findings in the month of January 2023. Officers arrested Luna and charged her with false alarm or report, a class A misdemeanor. Luna posted bond for $2,000 and was released Jan. 31.

JAN. 28

Timothy Street,24, of Taylor, at 4 a.m., in the 300 block of W. Eleventh St., officers responded to a report of an unwanted person with a knife causing a disturbance.

Officers located and apprehended Street, who had four outstanding class C warrants for theft of service, working without a permit, and two for prohibited camping.

Street is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $4,781.70.

JAN. 29

Sarah Kerbow, 34, of Taylor, at 5:03 a.m., in the 1600 block of E. Martin Luther King Jr.

Blvd., officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. An investigation revealed Kerbow stole copper wire from the business. Kerbow was arrested and charged with theft of material-copper under $20,000, a state jail felony. Kerbow also had an outstanding warrant out of Bell County for possession of dangerous drug, a class A misdemeanor. Kerbow is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail with bonds that total $18,000.
