Brigade, put their newly acquired skills the test last week in a burger challenge competition.
Twelve students created their own original variations, looking for the perfectly moist and flavorful burger with the perfect accompanying sauce.

Judges for the event included school board members Anita Volek and Cheryl Carter, Principal Matt Wamble and Assistant Principal Sean Schobinger.
“They can come cook for me anytime,” said Volek. “Each and every one of these burgers was wonderful.”
After sampling all twelve burgers, the judges named Alex Ramirez as the Top Burger Chef at Taylor High School.
