HUTTO – Students in Hutto Independent School District will have a day at home tomorrow.
The district announced it will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 31 as a safety precaution due to inclement weather. The area is under a Winter Weather Warning until Feb. 1, at noon, and travel conditions could be hazardous.
The closure could extend into Wednesday.
“We will update you on those plans tomorrow afternoon via ParentSquare email, voicemail, text and app push notifications,” the district said in a press release.
For students taking courses with Temple College, classes are expected to be virtual Tuesday, Jan. 31. Students should contact their professors for more information.
