Full steam ahead at the Chamber

Taxes are the foundation of the system in which we live. They fund our schools, counties, cities, state and nation.

Businesses pay them without homestead exemptions and many of the other _____________________________ In the calendar year 2022, Taylor businesses paid in more than $9.8 million in sales and use taxes in addition to the property, hotel occupancy, and franchise taxes that they also pay.

That is why the Chamber, as their representative, is an important partner in our City.

It’s also the primary reason we host our banquet.

This year’s banquet allowed our members more than 30 points of access (that means people) to the entities who spend tax money.

It’s why we introduce those people, so our busi- _________________________ know whom to seek out with ________________________________ _______________________ __________________________ so they can advocate for themselves, each other, and the people and families they support each and every day.

This year’s banquet saw almost 400 people have that opportunity and we look ___________________________ _____________________________ year and every year.
