Students quickly returned back to their regular schedule at Hutto High School after the school was put 'on hold' Jan. 24, while security officers investigated a possible threat.
During the hold, students sheltered in class.
The investigation turned up no firearms and no arrests, according to Noelle Newton, executive director of communications.
'After a thorough search, no weapon was located, nor any indication of one ever being on campus,' Newton said.
'Officers have cleared the campus for students to transition to their other classes.'
Officials said additional safety personnel were called to the campus and remained in place throughout the remainder of the school day.
'Hutto ISD puts the safety and security of its students as its highest priority,' Newton said.
'All threats to the safety of our students and staff are taken seriously and will be investigated.'
