Starting this Saturday, the IRS will be offering their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program in the Taylor Public Library Meeting Room, and will continue every Saturday until April 15. Hours will be 11 a.m. to-3 p.m. The VITA program has operated for over 50 years. VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including:
• People who generally make $60,000 or less
• Persons with disabilities; and
