Legacy Early College High School is accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year.
Legacy ECHS accepts 50 students per year into the school. The priority deadline is Feb. 28. Late applications may be submitted until all 50 available spots have been filled.
Legacy ECHS is a public high school in Taylor ISD. Students attending Legacy are given a unique high school experience focused on academics with a rigorous course of study enabling them to earn an associate’s degree from Temple College (TC) at the same time they complete their high school diploma. The college program as well as the high school program are provided at no cost to students or their families.
Legacy will host two informational nights for those interested in learning more about the program. On Feb. 10, the meeting will be held at Legacy ECHS, 516 N. Main St., from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. The Feb. 15 session will be a virtual meeting from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. at https://bit.ly/legacyvirtual.
Legacy welcomes all students to become part of Taylor ISD, regardless of where they live. There is no transfer fee for students residing outside the district. However, students must reside in the Taylor ISD coverage area in order to receive bus transportation.
The application for Legacy may be completed online at http://www.lechs.taylorisd.org, or a copy may be printed and turned in to the school office located at 516 North Main St.
