Monday, Jan. 16 — Join community leaders, public officials and others for the18th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration March. Lineup will be at 8:45 a.m. at the new Dickey-Givens Community Center, 260 S. Dolan St. ,with the march beginning promptly at 9 a.m. A program will take place at 10 a.m. at the Heritage Square Amphitheater. In the event of bad weather, the program will take place at City Hall, 400 Porter St.

Vintique Mall Market Days Saturday, Jan. 14 — From 9 to 4 Vintique Mall will host a Market Day at their location at 2121 N.

Main St. featuring live music, Abraham’s hot dogs and complimentary beer form the Texas Beer Company.

Chamber Luncheon

Monday, Jan. 16 — The Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce will host their monthly Chamber luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Taylor Independent School District Events Center, 3101 N. Main St. This is a great networking opportunity as well as getting insights from a different guest speaker. The cost to attend is $15 per person includes the program and lunch. Chamber Banquet

Tuesday, Jan. 17 — The Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Chamber and Community Awards banquet, entitled “Building on a Strong Foundation” from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Williamson County Expo Center, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail.

Annual Chili Supper

Thursday, Jan. 26 — From 5 to 7 p.m., Taylor Lions Club is hosting their annual chili supper, drive through only. Tickets are $12. Pickup is at the Taylor S.PJ.S.T Hall, 5025 FM 619. For more information, call 512-413-- 0256.

Roaring Twenties Gatsby Gala Saturday, Jan. 28 — The Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public to dress up, have fun and support a fundraiser contributing to the Hutto Area Chamber’s annual initiatives through their annual gala from 6 to 10 p.m. at the lower-level ballroom of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, 3001 Kalahari Blvd. in Round Rock.. Mardi Gras Dinner Dance

Saturday, Feb. 18 — Let the good times roll! From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., The Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County will be hosting a night of dinner, dancing, drinks, games and a chance to give back at the Taylor Mansion, 2109 E.

Fourth St., to support the efforts of the club. Individual tickets are $50, with sponsorships varying from $400 to $1,500. For more information, email [email protected].

Black History Month Banquet Saturday, Feb. 4 — At 6 p.m., The Dickey-Givens & Multipurpose Center will host their Connecting Excellence in Business, Community & Education banquet celebrating black history, featuring a soul food dinner and honoring excellence in the local community at Main Street Event Center, 3101 N. Main Street. Tickets are $15 each and $5 for ages six to 18. A vendor fair and networking hour will being at 6 p.m., followed by the banquet and program at 7 p.m. For more information, call 512-296-6109.
