Clifton was born Nov. 27, 1937, to Steve and Frances (Volcik) Kaderka. He graduated from Granger High School in 1956.

In 1956, Clifton joined the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country for six years as Air Man 2nd Class. He was stationed in Europe where he met the love of his life, Erika Toth. Clifton and Erika married Sept. 12, 1961, and again Oct. 28, 1961. After leaving the service, they moved to Corpus Christi, where Clifton worked for Koch Refinery. He retired from Koch after 30 years of employment.

After retiring, Clifton and Erika moved to Taylor.

Clifton loved family gatherings and loved to garden.

Clifton was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Frances Kaderka; brothers, Edward Kaderka and Louis Kaderka; and sisters, Agnes Berry and Mary Kruse.

Clifton is survived by his wife of 61 years, Erika Toth Kaderka; sons, Clifton D Kaderka and wife Becky of McKinney, and Michael Kaderka of Taylor; granddaughter, Maegan Kaderka of McKinney; brother, James Kaderka and wife Evelyn of Granger; and many nieces, nephews, greatnieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

A private gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s association or the charity of your choice.
