HUTTO – Have you taken a photo with a Hutto Hippo? There is still time to join in the fun for World Hippo Day.

Any time before Feb. 15, be sure to take photos of yourself with one or more of the 3,000 concrete hippos in Hutto and post your #hipposelfie in this event. You might even make it into the city’s special photo album.

You can also take a self-guided tour of Hutto’s concrete hippos this month.

On Feb. 15, the city of Hutto will celebrate World Hippo Day with an event at city hall.

Stop by city hall anytime from 4 to 6 p.m. for hippo books, art, snacks, swag and your chance to vote on a name for the Hutto Library Hippo.

Hutto residents are stopping around town to take photos with Hutto Hippos as a part of World Hippo Day scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 15.
