Delma Fay Pfeil, 87, of Taylor, passed away Dec. 26. Fay was born in Bastrop May 28, 1935, to Woody and Mildred Clardy.She lived her entire life in Bastrop and Taylor and graduated from Bastrop High School in 1955. She married her beloved husband Richard, of Taylor, July 27, 1955.
They were married for 66 years.
Fay was a medical assistant and pharmacists assistant for a combined 20 years. She was a founding member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her sister, Scarlett Lunsford; and her brothers, Clyde Clardy and Jimmy Clardy.
Fay is survived by her daughter, Vicki Milam; son, Rick Pfeil; and grandchildren, Kimberli Sims, Ashley Mangone, Adrian Lee, and Avery Pfeil; as well as great grandchildren, Freya Sims, Brynlee and Ryker Mangone.
Services will be held Jan. 7, at 10 a.m. at Condra Funeral Home, 503 Talbot St. in Taylor.
