TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

DEC. 12

Brian Kihega, 24, of Taylor, at 5:27 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Wilson regarding a possible wanted person at that address. Officers arrived and identified Kihega who was then arrested for an outstanding warrant for assault family violence – impeding breathing, a third-degree felony. Kihega posted bond for $10,000 and was released Dec. 14.

DEC. 13

Armando Garcia, 45, of Taylor, at 2:41 p.m., officers responded to King’s Liquor, 619 N. Main St., to a report of a criminal trespass. Investigation revealed that Garcia had been on the property prior to the call and was witnessed by officers. Officers made contact with Garcia at 501 N. Main St., where he resisted arrest and attempted to take an officer’s firearm. Garcia was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor and attempt to take weapon from an officer, a state jail felony. Garcia is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $13,000.

Fermin Mata, 27, of Taylor, at 2:30 p.m., officers attempted to take Mata into custody in the 500 block of N. Main St. for an outstanding warrant. Mata attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. Mata was arrested for the outstanding warrant for criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor.

Mata is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $1,500 bond.

Isiah Wright, 21, of Taylor, at 8 a.m., officers responded to Taylor Regional Park, 210 Carlos G. Parker Blvd NW regarding an unwanted person sleeping there. Investigation revealed Wright to have an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass of a habitation, a class A misdemeanor. Wright was taken into custody without incident.

Wright received a $1,000 surety bond and was released Dec. 23.

DEC. 15

Abby Martinez, 46, of Taylor, at 3:12 p.m. Martinez surrendered herself to the custody of the Williamson County Jail for an outstanding warrant for driving while intoxicated, a second-class A misdemeanor.

DEC. 16

Tracy Collins, 31, of Taylor, at 11:08 a.m., officers responded to the area of E. Rio Grande and Minden regarding possible criminal trespass. An investigation revealed Collins to have an outstanding warrant for assault family violence, class C misdemeanor. Collins was arrested for the outstanding warrant.

Collins received a surety bond for $870.30.

Jose Sanchez-Aguilar, 20, of Taylor, at 12:29 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of W. Seventh St. on a black Ford Mustang for speeding and disregarding a stop sign. An investigation revealed the driver, Sanchez-Aguilar, had two outstanding warrants for assault bodily injury, a class A misdemeanor out of Travis County; and criminal mischief, a class B misdemeanor out of Williamson County.

Sanchez-Aguilar posted bond for $10,000 and was released Dec. 24.

Matthew Lopez, 28, of Taylor, at 9:27 a.m., officers were advised that Lopez had been arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office for outstanding warrants for assault causing injury – family violence, a class A misdemeanor; disregard/ ran stop sign, a class C misdemeanor; and fail to maintain financial responsibility, a class C misdemeanor. Lopez posted bonds that total $20,000 and was released Nov. 20.

DEC. 17

Adelmo Torres, 33, of Taylor, at 3:39 p.m., officer responded to the 2700 block of Sunny Lane to a disturbance in progress. An investigation revealed Torres held two outstanding warrants from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office for unlawful carrying of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor; and driving while license invalid with previous convictions, a class B misdemeanor. Torres was arrested for the warrant. Torres posted bonds that totaled $6,500 and was released Dec. 22.

Julian Villanueva, 34, of Taylor, at 6:29 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Debus Drive regarding to a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Villanueva had interfered with an emergency telephone call, a class A misdemeanor. Villanueva was arrested for offense. Villanueva is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on $1,500 bond.

Clifford Painter, 48, of Taylor, at 6:49 a.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of N. Main St. regarding a welfare concern.

Painter was located in the McDonald’s parking lot at 2501 N. Main St. An investigation revealed Painter to be intoxicated to the degree he may be a danger to himself or others and was arrested for public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor.

Painter received a $100 surety bond and was released Dec. 20.

DEC. 18

Kelly Stone, 64, of Hutto, at 2:16 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Tenth St. An investigation revealed Stone, the driver, held an outstanding warrant for larceny theft under $2,500.00 with two previous convictions, a state jail felony. Stone was arrested for the outstanding warrant. Stone posted bond for $3,500 and was released Dec. 21.
