Last week, the Taylor Rotary Club received three recognitions for the organization’s outstanding work in the community. Past District Governor Jerry Chapman presented the awards at the Jan. 27 meeting.

The Taylor Rotary Club received the Every Rotarian Every Year Club award. The status is achieved by clubs when, during the Rotary year, every member of that club personally contributes at least $25 to the Rotary Foundation’s Annual Fund. The club’s total TRF Annual Fund contribution averages at least $100 per capita.

The Club also received the 100% Foundation Giving Club. For clubs that achieve an average of $100 in per capita giving and 100 percent participation, with every duespaying member contributing at least $25 to any or all of the following during the Rotary year: Annual Fund, PolioPlus Fund, approved global grants or Endowment Fund.

The Club was also recognized for 100% Sustaining Member Club. This is when each member gives $100 to the annual fund within the Rotary Year.
