Are your garden tools ready for spring?
Keeping your garden tools in tip-top shape will save you time and energy. The topic for the February Green Thumbs Up program is “Preparing Garden Tools for Spring,” presented by Master Gardener Tommy King.
Learn how to get your lawn mower ready for spring, repair handles and sharpen blades on your hand tools. There will also be other maintenance tips for your tools so you will be ready for spring gardening.
The Green Thumbs Up Gardening Program is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
Green Thumbs Up will be presented at the following locations and times:
• Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Room A, 216 E. Main St. in Round Rock — Thursday, Feb. 3, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.;
• Cedar Park Public Library, 550 Discovery Boulevard in Cedar Park — Tuesday, Feb. 8, from 7 to 8 p.m.; and
• Brushy Creek Community Center, Oak Room, 16318 Great Oaks Dr. in Round Rock — Wednesday, Feb. 16, from noon to 1 p.m.
