HUTTO – Last week, students and staff members at Nadine Johnson Elementary School and Veterans’ Hill Elementary School in Hutto went “RED” for Dyslexia. People who have dyslexia often associate the color red with mistakes.
According to studies, 90% of people with learning disabilities have dyslexia. Learn the symptoms of dyslexia: late talking, learning new words slowly, problems forming words correctly, reversing sounds in words, confusing words that sound alike; problems remembering or naming letters, numbers and colors, difficulty learning nursery rhymes or playing rhyming games.
