Third Thursday
Every third Thursday of each month, Taylor’s downtown businesses will be open past 5 until 8 p.m. and offer in-store specials, live music, door prizes and other activities. The event is designed to encourage residents to shop locally and become familiar with the shops in the downtown area.
COVID-19 & Flu Vaccines
The Williamson County and Cities Health District will have a walk-in clinic for COVID-19 and flu vaccinations every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Taylor building is located at 115 W. 6th St., one block from Main Street north of downtown Taylor. Northern Sky Star Party
Friday, Feb. 4 — Observe and explore the Wonders of the Northern Sky. People will be seeking out planets and Messier Objects too. The party will be held inside Old Settlers Park behind Lakeview Pavilion near the lake, 1001 Harrell Pkwy in Round Rock. Souper Bowl
Sunday, Feb. 6 — It is that time for the Hutto Resource Center’s 4th Annual “Souper Bowl” event. There will be a silent auction, bake sale, food, fun and fellowship. Dine-in or drive-thru options available. For more information, call 512-688-0176.
Chili Invitational
Saturday, Feb. 19 — The 1st Annual Taylor Downtown Chili Invitational will be at Greenhouse Craft Food, 113 W. Second St. in Taylor, from 2 to 8 p.m. There will be live music all day. Citizen Academy in Spanish
March 3-31 — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a Spanish session of its Citizen Academy. Members of the Spanish-speaking community are invited to join them and learn more the operations of our agency.
