Paul William Schroeder, 43, of Round Rock, passed away Oct. 2, 2022.
Paul was born May 7, 1979, in Taylor, to Marvin Schroeder Jr. and Catherine (Becker) McIver. He grew up with an older brother, Christopher Schroeder. Paul graduated from Taylor High School, where he enjoyed playing sports. Paul continued to regularly play rounds of golf with friends.
Paul worked as an estimator for Allied Electric Services for many years. Paul always had a love for hunting and fishing. He competed in several fishing tournaments and took home many trophies for “best catch.”
He spent countless weekends hunting with family and friends. His prize hunt was achieved when he shot his mule deer.
While he enjoyed the thrill of hunting and fishing his true happiness came from the time, he spent with the people he loved and his beloved cat, Baby Girl. Paul was preceded in death by his brother, James Schroeder; and grandparents, Marvin Schroeder, Alvinia Schroeder, Perry Becker and Annie Becker Paul is survived by his parents, Marvin Schroeder Jr., and Catherine (Becker) McIver; stepfather, Kirk McIver; brother, Christopher Schroeder; nephew, Cody Schroeder; and niece, Courtnie Whitson.
A visitation was held Friday, Oct. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home with a celebration of Paul’s life beginning at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
