With football and volleyball season for the 2021 season concluded the Taylor Press announced that they would once again be naming their East Cen-Tex All Fall Sports Team. This is the second year the newspaper has recognized local schools' fall programs and the athletic achievements of their student-athletes. A total of 30 total student-athletes were selected for 1st team, 2nd team, 3rd team and honorable mention from the following schools: Taylor, Granger Thrall, Hutto, Holland, Rockdale, Thorndale, Milano, Bartlett and Elgin.
1st Team Honors
Colter Hill, Tyreke Irvin, Aaliyah Couch and Melaina Grissom from Thrall, Jairiez Lambert from Hutto, Johnny Ryder and Macey Lopez from Granger and Julie Bartsch from Rockdale.
2nd Team Honors
Jarvis Anderson, Ryan Valdez and Kierra VanBrocklin from Taylor. JC Chaney from Holland, DJ McClelland from Granger, Mia Moellenberg from Thrall, Kamryn Haynes from Hutto and Abby Dickerson from Thorndale.
3rd Team Honors
Justin Strong from Elgin, Donnie Cantwell and Clarissa Miller from Granger, Dawson Haney from Holland, Jackson Meller and Mackenzie Watson from Taylor, Yolianna Castillo from Rockdale and Raelynn Johnson from Thrall.
Those receiving honorable mention were, Jay Polynice from Bartlett, Stryker Leschber from Thorndale, Ethan Gordan of Milano, Katy Vitek from Granger, Tessa Burton of Holland and Kydal Robinson from Thorndale.
