Billy G. Shiller, 81, of Harker Heights, passed away Thursday, Sept.
22, 2022, in a Temple hospital.
Billy was born, Feb.
12, 1941, in Thrall, the son of Lumie Vince and Viola Vada (Wilson) Shiller. He was a graduate of the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
He married Dorothy Oujezdsky June 19, 1965, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor. He worked for 41 years at Central Texas College as a systems analyst/computer programmer. He retired in 2012. Billy was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Shiller; one son, Cory Shiller; and one sister, Marilyn Artieschoufsky.
The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dossman Funeral Home chapel.
Graveside services for Billy will be held Thursday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. at the Taylor City Cemetery with Rev.
George Qualley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Billy’s memory be made to the Harker Heights Animal Shelter or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
