Chamber growing stronger than ever

The Chamber is leading Taylor towards a more prosperous future by strengthening, promoting and advocating for businesses and the region’s economy. And, we have had some pretty big accomplishments so far this year.

The Chamber is leading Taylor towards a more prosperous future by strengthening, promoting and advocating for businesses and the region’s economy.

And, we have had some pretty big accomplishments so far this year.

Because we do work that business owners don’t have the time to do, it behooves us to let you know what we are doing on behalf of our members and community.

This year, the Chamber...

• Put the spotlight of leadership on Taylor with an advocacy summit that featured subject matter authorities from around the state. When Taylor is in the lead on things like this, it lifts our reputation and leads to more favorable impressions for those on the outside, making Taylor a more desirable place to live, work and shop.

• Asked more than 600 students from 13 school districts to consider a trades or technical career.

• Started the Greater Taylor Foundation, a 501c3 that you’ll be hearing lots more about in the future.

This organization is going to be doing good things in our community for years to come!

• Celebrated good things and good people in Taylor at a banquet attended by 350 people.

• Delivered important information to our members at eight luncheons (so far) with an average attendance of more than 93 people.

We also used this opportunity to highlight our member restaurants and caterers with excellent results.

All that while working diligently for local businesses just like we do every day of every year.
