TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

SEPT. 12

Natalie Grimaldo, 17, of Taylor, at 11:05 a.m., at Taylor High School, 355 FM 973, the school resource officer responded to a report of a student in possession of a tetrahydrocannabinols (THC) vape pen.

Grimaldo was found to be in possession of the vape pen and released the pen to the officer. Grimaldo was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 2, under 1 gram in a drug free zone, a third-degree felony.

SEPT. 13

Pete Valdez, 30, of Taylor, at 12:28 p.m., at the Taylor Police Department, 500 S. Main St., Valdez turned himself in for an outstanding warrant for sexual performance of child, a first-degree felony.

Valdez is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $200,000.

Nathaniel Alderete, 23, of Taylor, at 7:56 p.m., in the 1600 block of Jones St., officers apprehended Alderete, who had two outstanding warrants for public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor, and assault with injury/ family violence, a class A misdemeanor out of Williamson County.

Alderete is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $4,885.30.

SEPT. 14 Lester Davenport, 58, of Taylor, at 1 p.m., at Baylor Scott & White Hospital, 305 Mallard Ln., officers responded to an uncooperative patient.

An investigation revealed Davenport assaulted a member of the Taylor Fire Department. Davenport was arrested and charged with assault of a public servant, a third-degree felony. The charges were dismissed/declined, and Davenport was released Sept. 15.

William Carpenter, 57, of Taylor, at 10:31 p.m., in the 1000 block of Lake Dr., officers arrested Carpenter and charged him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Carpenter received at $1,000 PR bond and was released the same day.

SEPT. 16

Lorena Barber, 39, and Stacey Barber, 37 of Taylor, at 10:24 p.m., in the 500 block of Lenora Dr., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Lorena physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. Lorena was arrested and charged with assault with injury/ family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Stacey pointed a firearm at a member of the household and threatened the life of the person. Stacey was arrested and charged with terroristic threat/ family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Both Lorena and Stacey posted bond for $4,000 and were released the same day.

SEPT. 17

Treana Blue, 24, of Taylor, at 12:25 p.m., in the 200 block of W. Lake Dr., officers conducted a traffic stop on Blue, who had two outstanding warrants out of Travis County for obstruction of highway passageway, a class B misdemeanor, and bond forfeiture, driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Blue is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $3,500.

SEPT. 18

Javier Yanez, 49, of Taylor, at 4 a.m., in the 200 block of Highland Dr., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Yanez physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. Yanez was arrested and charged with assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Yanez posted bond for $5,000 and was released the same day.
