Engineers in Samsung Austin Semiconductor’s College Orientation Recruitment (CORP) Engineer program volunteered Sept. 18 with students at Main Street Intermediate School.

According to Samsung spokesperson Michele Glaze, the CORP engineer program is a fulltime, entry level role with a comprehensive orientation and technical training. Participants are given an overview of the company’s processes and operations, knowledge of our semiconductor fabrication and manufacturing principles, and exposure to working in a large, global organization. The program also features networking, social and community service activities with the current and alumni CORP engineers to build connections to the Samsung Austin Semiconductor family.

“At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, our career pathway programs give students the opportunity to apply what they are learning in school to real-world solutions,” Glaze said. “This allows student to enhance skills, gain valuable experience, and explore a career in semiconductors.”
