The 2022 Texas Mamma Jamma Ride will begin at 8 a.m. at Heritage Square on Saturday, Sept. 17 to raise funds in support of Lone Star Circle of Care’s Big Pink Bus, which brings affordable mobile mammogram services to low-income and underserved women in the region.

Since the ride was launched in 2009, more than $2 million has been raised to combat breast cancer. Registration for the all-skills-level event is $35 for each adult rider, who is required to raise at least $300 to ride on event day and will receive the Texas Mamma Jamma Ride t-shirt, $50 for under-18 riders, for whom fundraising is not required, and $35 for virtual riders, with no fundraising minimum either. Participants can choose four different options for routes, that range from 15 to 70 miles in length. This family-friendly event will also feature local food, beer, and live music. For more information, or to register for the event, go to mammajammaride. org.
