MUNCH recruiting more volunteers

Can you spare 30 minutes at lunch once a week to spend some quality time with Taylor ISD students? The district’s MUNCH at Lunch mentor program is recruiting volunteers. You can leave for lunch and return within the hour. MUNCH, mentors at lunch, is a group program, so there are generally two to three students with one mentor.

Elementary students eat while the mentor reads a book. With the older students, it’s about participating in a discussion.

After the meal, mentors and students play a game of UNO or Old Maid and then it’s over. If you can show up, you can mentor. 99.99% of mentoring is showing up.
