TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

AUG. 15

Zerelli Burks, 19, of Taylor, at 1:34 p.m., officers learned that Burks, who was incarcerated at the Williamson County Jail, had been served with an outstanding warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor. Burks paid a fine for $885.30 and was released Aug. 26.

AUG. 17

Joshua Rojas, 39, of Taylor, at 10:48 p.m., in the 300 block of Vance St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Rojas physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury.

Rojas then attempted to prevent the victim from calling 911. Rojas also had four outstanding warrants for fail to maintain financial responsibility, fail to appear, both out of Taylor, and fail to maintain financial responsibility out of Liberty Hill. Rojas was arrested for the warrants and was further charged with assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor, and interference with emergency request for assistance, a class A misdemeanor.

Rojas paid fines that totaled $1,867.60 and was released Aug. 19

AUG. 19

Remington Kilburn, 39, of Taylor, at 12:48 a.m., in the 600 block of W. Second St., officers apprehended Kilburn, who had an outstanding warrant out of Georgetown for credit/debit card abuse of the elderly, a third-degree felony.

Kilburn is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $15,000 bond.

Shane Hoffman, 56, of Taylor, at 10:24 p.m., in the 300 block of W. Lake Dr., officers apprehended Hoffman, who had three outstanding warrants for probation violations for possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1 under 1 gram, a state jail felony, and two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony. Hoffman is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $40,000.

Destiny Hammond, 35, of Taylor, at 6:25 p.m., in the 3800 block of N. Main St., officers arrested Hammond and charged her with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Hammond posted bond for $2,000 and was released Aug. 20.
