HUTTO – The Hutto Hippos’ first football game is Friday, Aug. 26, in San Marcos. The district has been invited to participate in the Peanut Butter Bowl.
The PB Bowl began six years ago in San Antonio and has grown to over 35 games with 70 teams including 10 Austin area schools.
Over the last six years, the event has collected more than 100,000 jars of peanut butter for local food banks. All peanut butter collected by Hutto ISD goes to the Hutto Resource Center.
