A familiar face is back at the Taylor Press.
This month, Catherine McGary became the new advertising representative for the newspaper’s new magazine, East Wilco Insider. She replaces Stacey Smith, who transitions to being the advertising representative for the Taylor Press newspaper.
McGary worked at the Taylor Press in 2015 as the paper’s ad rep. She then relocated to Fort Worth in 2016 for family.
“My children have grown and flown,” said McGary, “and I moved back to be near my parents.”
Local residents and their growing community is another attraction to bring her back to the area.
East Williamson County is seeing a huge population boom and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon,” said McGary. “The people I encounter daily are proud of where they live, whether they are native to the area or just started to lay down roots.”
The East Wilco Insider is a monthly publication of the Taylor Press. The magazine focuses on business, historical, enterprise and other impactful topics that affect all of east Williamson County — Taylor, Hutto, Granger, Thrall, Coupland, Georgetown and Round Rock.
“I hope to help make the East Wilco Insider a must-read for current and future residents,” said McGary.
