HUTTO – On Jan. 15, the Greater Hutto Chamber of Commerce hosted its Big Easy Masquerade Gala at Kalahari Resort in Round Rock.
The event was an opportunity for businesses to network while enjoying the theme of a masquerade ball. Annual awards were also presented to businesses for their outstanding efforts throughout the year.
“Every nominee and organization represented here tonight has set a blazing trail of success,” a statement from the chamber said. “Our hope is that everyone nominated feels the love and support of the community we so diligently serve.”
Anne Cano received the Ed Schmidt Lifetime Achievement. Kelley Hernandez was named Kenneth Love Citizen of the Year.
The Small Business of the Year went to Creative Learning Center.
The Large Business of the Year was Kanga Roof.
Walker Insurance was named Member of the Year, and Kelly Laake was named Volunteer of the Year.
Ambassadors of the Year were Jason and Deanna Ramm. Stockade Kitchen received the Emerging Business of the Year Award.
Hutto Resource Center was named the Non-Profit of the Year, and Barnsco received the Above and Beyond Award.
