Are you new to Central Texas and interested in gardening, or do you just want to learn more about how to take care of your lawn and garden?
A four-week Lawn & Garden 201 class presented by the Williamson County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. starting Aug. 30.
Session topics and speakers include:
• Aug. 30 — Fall Vegetable Gardening, Patty Leander, Travis County master gardener;
• Sept. 6 — Growing Fruits and Nuts, Kate Whitney, Williamson County Horticulture Extension agent;
• Sept. 13 — Composting, Tommy King, Williamson County master gardener; and
• Sept. 20 — Tree Care & Diseases, Camile Wiseman, Texas A&M Forest Service.
The class will be held at the Williamson County Extension Office at 100 Wilco Way in Georgetown.
The cost for the full series is $45, or you can register for individual classes at $15 per class.
