Men are preparing to get all dressed up to for a local beauty pageant.
Dudes as Dames returns Aug. 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the S.P.J.S.T. Hall, 5025 FM 619 in Taylor.
The event is to help raise funds for Cinderella’s Closet Taylor, TX.
Dudes as Dames is a night of fun where men wear prom dresses and strut down the runway. The reigning queen Robert Garcia will be in attendance to pass the crown to the new winner.
A chicken dinner will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and include a drink and dessert. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for prizes including a Black Buck Antelope Trophy Day Hunt.

Cinderella’s Closet Taylor TX is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose goal is to assist young ladies who would find it difficult to attend their high school prom because of the expense involved. Cinderella’s Closet Taylor TX offers our services to Taylor and its surrounding communities within a 50-mile radius. The organization’s goal is to enrich the lives of the young ladies it serves only through the support and bountiful donations that received from donors and volunteers.
