JULY 11
Travis Tanskley, 31, of Taylor, at 7:08 p.m., in the 100 block of E. Seventh St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Tanksley, who had an outstanding warrant for assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Tanksley was arrested for the warrant. Tanksley was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was further charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, under 1 gram, a state jail felony. Tanksley is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $9,000.
JULY 12
James Gogolewski, 47, of Taylor, at 4:26 p.m., at 1700 Mallard Ln. officers apprehended Gogolewski, who had an outstanding warrant for arson, a second-degree felony. On July 10, officers responded to a structure fire at the Dr. Dicky Museum, 500 Burkett St. Officers observed Gogolewski near the scene and interviewed him. An investigation by Taylor detectives revealed Goglewski intentionally set fire to the museum. Detectives, in consultation with the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office, obtained a probable cause warrant for the arrest of Gogolewski. Gogolewski is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Roberto Flores-Alvarado, 42, of Taylor, at 4:48 a.m., in Murphy Park, 1600 Veterans Dr., officers apprehended Flores-Alvarado, who had an outstanding warrant out of Williamson County for bond forfeiture-unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony. Flores-Alvarado was arrested for the warrant. Flores-Alvarado is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
JULY 13
Jose Fuentes, 19, and Kade Salazar, 18, of Taylor, at 3:08 a.m., in the 100 block of W. Pecan St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Salazar. Fuentes was a passenger in the vehicle. Salazar had an outstanding warrant for unlawful carrying a weapon, a class A misdemeanor out of Williamson County, and Fuentes had an outstanding warrant for deadly conduct, a class A misdemeanor. Salazar and Fuentes were arrested for the warrants. Salazar posted bond for $2,000 and was released the same day.
Ezequiel Alderete, 31, of Taylor, at 5:56 p.m., at 500 Symes St., officers responded to a report of an assault. An investigation revealed Alderete physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. Alderete was arrested and charged with assault with injury/ family violence-with previous convictions, a third-degree felony. Alderete is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
JULY 14
Louis Alvarado, 53, of Taylor, at 8:11 p.m., in Heritage Park, 400 block of N. Main St., officers responded to a report of a person with a gun. An investigation revealed Alvarado threatened another person with a weapon, placing that person in fear for their life. It was later revealed to be a BB gun. Alvarado was also found to be in possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone. Alvarado was arrested and charged with terroristic threat, a class A misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone, a class A misdemeanor. Alvarado is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $3,500 bond.
Louis Galvan, 69, of Taylor, at 8:02 a.m., in the 400 block of Murphy St., officers made contact with Galvan, who had been previously issued a criminal trespass warning, barring him from the property. Galvan was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor. Galvan is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $6,000.
JULY 15
Sandy Villanueva, 43, of Taylor, at 7:29 p.m., at 1800 N. Main St., officers apprehended Villanueva, who had an outstanding warrant out for assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Villanueva posted bond for $2,000 and was released July 19.
Samuel Adams, 48, of Taylor, at 2:30 p.m., in the 100 block of W. Fourth St., officers apprehended Adams, who had an outstanding warrant for assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Adams posted bond for $10,000 for the assault charge. Adams is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $100,000 bond for manufacture/deliver/possession with intent deliver drugs in an amount over 1 gram and under 4 grams.
JULY 16
Robert Abundiz, 22, of Taylor, at 2:26 a.m., in the 200 block of Fowzer St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Abundiz, who had an outstanding warrant for driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor out of Milam County. Abundiz was arrested for the warrant. Abundiz is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
