The 72nd annual Taylor rodeo is in the books. The event featured three nights of nonstop action-packed entertainment on July 14-16, at the Williamson County Expo Center.

The 72nd annual Taylor rodeo is in the books. The event featured three nights of nonstop action-packed entertainment on July 14-16, at the Williamson County Expo Center.

Top winners at this year’s rodeo included Payton Lackey who scored an 82 in bareback , Callie Albrecht in barrel racing with a time of 15.91, Sarah Angelone in break away roping with a time of 2.13. J.B. Collins had the fastest calf roping time with 7.8 seconds. Dalton Kingery scored an 81 in the saddle bronc competition. Boyd Sawyer took first in the steer wrestling event with a time of 4.1. Sam Miller finished with a 4.21 time in team roping.
