On June 27, Hutto Independent School District announced that its board of trustees approved Kayla Gosset as Benjamin “Doc” Kerley Elementary School Principal.
Gossett most recently served as an assistant principal at Farley Middle School. She was in the role for four years and is in her 12th year of public education.
“I feel extremely blessed to have been selected to serve the Kerley Elementary campus and community,” said Gossett. “From the moment I began working in Hutto ISD, I have loved the small-community-feel that Hutto has maintained, even as it continues to grow. This past year, we made the decision to move our family to Hutto so that my kids could be a part of this community as well. I look forward to sharing my love of Hippo Nation with all of my new students, staff and families.”
