The Hobbs-Smith Family Reunion will be held Saturday, July 23, at the Lawhon Springs School Museum.
The Lawhon Springs School is now a museum and will be the permanent home for the Hobbs-Smith Reunion. Desendants of William Right Hobbs and Elenor Jane Smith Hobbs invite everyone interested to come enjoy the day.
The group will gather around 10 a.m. to begin a day of fellowship, food and fun and want to invite all relatives and friends to come enjoy the day. People are asked to bring your auction item and a covered dish or dessert. Items furnished will be all paper goods, utensils, drinks, ice, meat and bread.
The location is on FM 619, which leaves FM 696 and continues to Taylor. U.S. 290 gets you to FM 696. The building is about 3 miles from FM 696 on the left.
