TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

JUNE 28

Joshua Bucek, 30, of Taylor, at 1:36 a.m., in the 1600 block of E. Fourth St., officers apprehended Bucek, who had two outstanding warrants for probation violationpossession of controlled substance, penalty group 1 under 1 gram, a state jail felony, and probation violation-possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1 over 1 gram, a thirddegree felony. Bucek is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $95,000.

JUNE 29

Marissa Vargas, 38, of Taylor, at 2:49 a.m., in the 300 block of Booth St., officers made contact with Vargas, who was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Vargas was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, under I gram, a state jail felony. Charges were dismissed/declined, and Vargas was released the same day.

JUNE 30

Lewis Bridgeman, 46, of Taylor, at 4:52 a.m., in the 200 block of Highland Dr., officers responded to a report of an assault. An investigation revealed Bridgeman physically assaulted a member of the household by strangulation. Bridgeman was arrested and charged with assault by strangulation, a third-degree felony. Bridgeman is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $15,000 bond.

JULY 1

Terry Goodman, 65, of Taylor, at 9:27 p.m., in the 300 block of E. Eighth St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers made contact with Goodman, who was found to be in possession of cocaine. Goodman was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, under 1 gram, a state jail felony. Goodman is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
