Master Gardener meeting Monday

What’s your favorite crape myrtle tree color – purple, pink, red or white? Crape myrtle trees, also spelled ‘crepe’ myrtle because the flowers resemble crepe paper, have been described as beautiful, long-blooming trees that sometimes suffer damage from an insect called bark scales. Master Gardener Brenda McIndoo will present a free program on this subject and provide information about caring for crape myrtle trees.
