Dee Dee Washington will present her 12th year of Amazing Women, a program that recognizes four women sharing the challenges that shadowed their lives.
The program will be held Sunday, July 10 at 3:30 p.m. at Jerusalem Pentecostal Church where Daniel Alderete is the pastor.
Sometimes life throws huge challenges our way, whether it’s a deadly illness or having to survive with no job or family to support you. With God’s blessings, with their prayers and the belief they have in themselves, these four women have overcome their challenges.
The 2022 Amazing Women speakers are Audrey Faye Amos-McGehee of Cedar Park, formerly of Taylor; Elizabeth Stinson of Austin, formerly of Taylor; Gwen Thomas-Tyler of Pflugerville; and the keynote speaker is Phyllis A. McKenzie of Austin. They are truly inspiring, and we can learn a thing or two about perseverance.
